How to calculate the size of the luggage?

The size of the luggage on the market is generally based on the size of the airline's (International Air Transport Association) boarding case (hand luggage) and check-in box (carrying luggage). For example, Cathay Pacific stipulates that the maximum size of each piece of checked baggage must be less than 158 cm, and the maximum size of each piece of hand luggage must be less than 56x36x23 cm.
