1. Make the most of your suitcase’s compartments

In a good piece of luggage you will find aids such as compartments, pockets and straps to help you organize your luggage in the best possible way. For example, you can securely store fragile items such as a laptop in the interior pocket or easily access other items in the exterior pocket. 2. Use a compression bag

Compression bags are a great way to keep your luggage as compact as possible. You will need to place items in a plastic compression bag, and once you have all the items you need in the bag, you can suck the air out of the bag. It's a space saver, but it doesn't protect clothing as packing cubes do. Because during the process of compressing the bag, the clothes are likely to wrinkle and fold. However, if you have limited space in your suitcase, this is a great option.

3. Use travel-sized toiletries

Another effective space saver is to pack travel-sized toiletries. You can buy small toiletry sets such as a half-size toothbrush, small toothpaste and other small bathroom essentials. Especially if you are going on a short trip and you don't want to pack too many unnecessary items in your toiletry bag, then this is a good choice.

4. Wear your heaviest clothing

Many travelers are in the habit of putting on their heaviest clothing when they set off so they don't have to pack. This is especially useful for longer trips where you're unsure of the climate and need to pack everything from summer clothes to heavy coats and jackets. Your best bet is to cut down on the heavy loads you need to carry and be prepared to wear the same jacket or two over and over again on the road. However, what if you need an extra jacket or heavy boots but can't fit them in the suitcase. Then it might be the best choice to wear them on the go.
